Tribebuilder ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Tribebuilder platform, including tribebuilder.net. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Information We Collect

• Account information: your email address and name when you register. Sign-in is passwordless — we send a one-time verification code to your email, so we never collect or store a password.
• Brand and content data: brand settings, post captions, scheduled dates, and media you upload or generate within the platform.
• Instagram connection: if you connect your Instagram account, we store an access token issued by Meta to publish content on your behalf. We do not store your Instagram password.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the Tribebuilder platform.
• To publish content to Instagram on your behalf when you schedule or manually trigger a post.
• To improve platform features and performance.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that help us operate the platform, and only as needed to do so:

• Clerk — handles sign-in and authentication (processes your email address).
• Stripe — processes subscription payments. Your card details are handled by Stripe directly; we never see or store them.
• Loops — sends account and lifecycle emails (e.g. welcome and trial reminders).
• Cloud hosting and storage providers — run the application and store your content.

We may also disclose information where required by law.

Instagram Data

We use the Meta Graph API to publish content to Instagram on your behalf. We only request the instagram_content_publish permission. We do not read your Instagram messages, followers, or any data beyond what is required to publish posts. You can revoke access at any time through your Instagram settings or within the Tribebuilder platform.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted storage and secure HTTPS connections to protect your data.
